What a fun dining experience. Alexandra treated us like family, cooked to order whatever we wanted, and helped with our travel plans. It's like eating in a warm, lovely home. Dinner was delicious. Hope to come back soon.

Alexandra, the owner is unbelievable. She went beyond to help us with the menu and allowed us to try her homemade jams. The ice cappuccino really hit the spot for us - we had 2 each. We ordered a side of pancakes to share and some egg sandwiches. The guanabana jam was our favorite ! Highly recommend

Where to start to list all the great aspects of this warm, crazy, colourful little treasure hidden place in the city? I will start saying that I was looking for a place to eat a decent bite for lunch with very low expectations and I end up staying almost two hours eating drinking and chatting about art and the world ! My husband and I both loved it! Rarely I leave reviews but this time I thought it was a must. Well as European I immediately recognised the vibrant colours of Camden Town in London or the crazy forniture of the hidden bars of Montparnasse in Paris. However, you will go and think ‘that crazy Europeans who see beauty in everything’ Well, not really! I am fussy about food, design and originality and too often el Chepe boring me in the desperate attempt of imitating Manhattan‘s restaurants or other famous places, they are all the same to me ! On the contrary you will hardly forget the Resto/Bar Verde Ville. Perfect for lunch. Finally an original place with amazing service and very fresh tasty food ! First you will strike by the colours, almost too much until your eyes rest in a little part and then another … it is a petite art gallery and while eating very amazing Venezuelan food, you can discuss pretty much everything with the two most warm, lovely, bright ladies of Escazu ! And the bill ridiculously cheap for the whole experience and the quality of food. I learn their names and I will be back as many times as I travel to the city. Francesca & Ismael

This place is truly a hidden gem. The food is fantastic but reasonably priced. This is the only restaurant in Costa Rica that everyone in my family loved.

Very unique place on the road between the Caribbean and the Pacific. The owners are not only great cooks but also artists, so the place is really pretty. The served Venezuelan food is amazing and you can add a friendly chat with the owners to your list too. Highly recommended.

The arepa was fabulous and the ambiance is tranquil. The walls are covered with the owner's art made from different recycled material including wood and plastic. I really enjoyed my visit there.

Fantastic place. Lovely people, excellent food and really interesting up-cycled artworks. Best lunch stop in Costa Rica so far. Definitely worth a visit.
